I don’t understand one thing about this luxury of life. How many people (who can afford the Defender) are really the type of people to go camping?
    Just saying.
Just like the G-class, I assume subtlety is not its strong suit.

Thank you Sean, this is actually a really good point that I would like to address. The Land Rover Defender actually isn’t a luxury vehicle, but it does come with a pretty hefty price tag. The nice thing about the Defender is that it’s basically a British version of the Jeep. Most individuals who buy a Defender buy it for its off roading capabilities, because it’s not exactly pretty or comfortable. The Defender is the only expensive suv that people actually take off the road and into the wilderness, you see them being used all over the world. The point I think your trying to make is regarding the G-Class and also other vehicles like a Range Rover. First I would like to address the Mercedes. The G-Class was originally called the Gelandewagen and was build by Mercedes Benz for the German military, its capabilities were comparable to the Jeep and the Defender. However Mercedes put some leather in it, a nice paint job and an AMG engine and started selling it as a luxury car. What sucks about that is that when most people pay upwards of $70k for a car they’re not exactly keene on the idea of crawling over boulders and driving through marshes with it. Therefore paying for all those 4×4 gadgets is kinda pointless. The same case can be made for the Range Rover. However the Range Rover was originally made as a more luxurious version of the Land Rover it still is fantastic in the mud. I personally do not like it when people buy these amazing machines and do not use them to their full potential. I love my Range Rover and baby the hell out of it however that never stops me from driving it in the bush and using it to its full potential. Actually I plan on taking it to the Land Rover challenge in Bremerton next month. As long as this may be, I hope it helps. How the hell have you been by the way?
